It's all about.. ME

Hello there! I know previously I said I would come back and talk a little bit more about myself so alas! That is exactly what I am going to do!

I am the owner of Chelsea's Boutique and have been for almost 3 years! I have loved every minute of it, from coming home every weekend from college to remodel, to going antiquing for displays, and of course attending market all over the place! I am 23 and actually bought my building (with my parents help of course) when I was only 19 yrs old, and was finishing up my last year in college. I went to school to get my associates degree in Business at good ole STI in Sioux Falls, SD.There I met one of my best friends~ Krysia.

And reunited with an old friend from high school, my bestie~ Blair.

I have an absolutely amazing family who has helped me with my store and just about everything else in life! I am extremely close to my whole family. And now I would like to introduce you to them! Below is my seester, Logan, she is one of my most favorite people! She is absolutely hilarious and is one of the kindest hearted people you will ever meet. Whenever I'm around her I feel like a little kid because we act so silly and always have so much fun together.

Pictured below is my wild and crazy littlest seester, Maggy, or, as I like to call her, magaronni and cheese! Since we are so far apart in age (14 years), me and mags are close in the fact that she really looks up to me to take care of her if something goes wrong. I think she learned my cell phone number when she was like 5!

Next we have my daddy~ Raymond. My daddy was one of the biggest assests to getting my store up and running. He aged about 5 years in the 5 months it took to turn the bakery that had been there for years into a non-greasy/donut smelling boutique! And I am still very thankful today for all of his hard work he put into it!

Now on to another one of my favorite people, my momma~ Patience. My mom has been extremely influential in running my store, she herself, has been in business for 15 years at The Picket Fence. Which is a flower, and gift shop located right next to my store. We didn't feel like we were seeing enough of each other, what with me living with her at the time, and working right next door to each other, so we decided to take out a piece of the wall in between both of our stores, and make a walkway into each others store. :)

My mom is on the right, just in case you were wondering! :)
Next we have my MOST favorite person in the world, my lovely boyfriend ~ Colin. Colin has been an amazing assest to my business as well! He designed and created my wonderful website and also got my Chelsea's Boutique facebook page up and running! He also does a lot of behind the scene work for me, such as installing web cams in my store and helping me get my online store working and functioning correctly.

Our kitty- Einstein!
I am currently living in Oxford, MS with my boyfriend, and our cute kitty! Now, I know you are probably wondering, what? I thought your store was in South Dakota, and yes, you are correct! My store is in fact in Chamberlain, SD, but I decided while I was still young and wasn't tied down to the town with a family, I would leave SD for awhile and experience new things. I was born, raised, and now have my store in Chamberlain, and I thought what not a better time than now to go and see what its like to live somewhere else with a wonderful manager there at the store to hold down the fort. Which, by the way, she has done an IMPECCABLE job! I will be returning to Chamberlain, after my 6 months down here in Oxford, at the end of next month and am very excited to be working in my store again and seeing my family everyday! Now you know a little more about me, and once Leana figures out how to run the blog, she will be posting soon as well.

I am going to end this post today with one of my fav quotes:

Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius, and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous, than absolutely boring!

PEACE!
