Hi Chelsea's fans! I am Alexis, the newest contributor to Have You Heard? I will be keeping you up to date on upcoming trends, beauty and fashion advice, and all things Chelsea's! My interest in fashion began at a young age when my older sister would quiz me on supermodels in fashion magazines. I quickly learned which styles I liked and didn't....a fashion monster was created. Though my hair certainly needed some help, I was practicing my poses at a young age.

 At 19 years old, I won the job and title of Miss South Dakota USA 2006, in which I was able to serve our state locally and represent South Dakota at the national Miss USA competition.

That year was another step in my styling journey. At the close of my reign, I had several friends approach me about competing. I helped several of them prepare for their respective competitions and realized that I had a love for beauty and styling. Here I am with my first state winner!

After working with friends, I realized that consulting was something I loved to do. From there, I opened my own styling and coaching business, Impower Image Consulting. Helping others to look and feel their best is so rewarding for me and inspires me every day. I have even had the pleasure to work with Chelsea's own fashionista, Wylie!

While I love every moment I spend consulting, blogging, and styling, my best work is the work I do at home! I am blessed to live with my biggest fan, my husband Bill, and our beautiful baby girl!
