Chelsea Cares...

Hey Chelsea's friends!
Many of you might think that keeping the boutique going means keeping clothes on the shelves...you are right, and there is so much more! In addition to updating the website, staying in tune with customers, keeping on top of our social media, and more, Chelsea really cares about the community. We work hard to give back through a number of different efforts.
Our newest effort to aid in providing necessities for those in need is through our coat drive. The crisp air has settled in and we are hanging up our fall and winter jackets. We cannot help but think of those women and children who do not have what they need to stay warm during our Midwest winter. Chelsea cares and helping others gives her warm fuzzies. That is why Chelsea's Boutique is offering a 20% discount on the purchase of a new coat when you bring in a new or gently used one. Don't have a coat to donate? You can also participate by bringing in hats, scarves and gloves in children's or adult sizes. All of the items collected will be donated to the Missouri Valley Crisis Center in Chamberlain, SD. Shop with us from now until November 1 and you can help share the warmth with those who need it most.

This year, the Boutique is also a proud supporter of The South Dakota International Pageants. Last weekend, we had the unique opportunity to be on set for their official photo shoot (these are the photos they use at their national competition!). We even had fun styling and accessorizing with fashions from the store!
After the ladies were finished with hair and makeup, we had a great time helping them style the shoot. I learned that pageant ladies love their sparkle! Think crystal, drop earrings and lots of sequins! The three ladies each have a platform and charity that they support throughout their reigns. That is something Chelsea's Boutique can get behind. You will be seeing more of these three as we  work together to promote their national platform Go Red For Women in the future.
