Spotlight on Salon Britori and Flat Iron Curls
We are so excited about pampering a special mom with the What To Wear: Mother's Day Makeover that we wanted to share a little more about the special sponsors behind it.
Salon Britori will be helping mom with her new do by gifting her a hair cut and color to start her fresh look. Shawn has been doing my hair for years and he was the first person I found here who I trusted to give me exactly what I want (don't hate me....I am sure there are others, but I am so glad I found him). I used to drive to Minneapolis and spend an absurd amount of money on a cut and I'd skip the color because they never got that right. Truly, my hair was blue one time, and I am not in a garage band(but that would be cool). Shawn is known in town as the "Colour God." Yeah...that's how good he is. If I want simple unassuming low lites, he masters it. If I want crazy bold and in your face, he can handle that too. And while this isn't in mom's package, I totally recommend getting your brows shaped at Salon Britori. Seriously! In the words of Nike, JUST DO IT! I know what you are thinking, salon's always get overzealous with the wax. Nope, not Shawn. He is so good that other salon professionals in town send their clients to him and go to him because they know he has perfected the brow. ....I regularly receive compliments on my eyebrows. Bizarre. I know, but I will take it.
If you haven't been to Salon Britori, it is the most charming salon in town. It has the best rustic wood floors and twinkle lights. How can you pass up the twinkle lights? The only way I could love Salon Britori more is if it were transported into my house and I could look fabulous every morning. You'll find it in the Creamery Building above Oh My Cupcakes. Did I mention he has online scheduling. I can sit here in my pajamas with my coffee and schedule at 6 am or at midnight. I never have to wait for Salon Hours.
