DIY: Beautiful Christmas Lights

Okay, so I totally didn't come up with this on my own! The credit goes to Pinterest and this blog: http://maythisjourney.blogspot.com/2013/11/christmas-light-upgrade.html 

But, how cool is this idea?! I'm totally going to do this, watch the display window for these fun lights coming soon!! I think they'll also look fab in our loft that we are moving into in exactly t-minus 12 days, not that I'm keeping track or anything :)! Anyways, not that this picture doesn't tell you EXACTLY what to do, here are the steps.

1- Order lots of ping pong balls (I found 144 of them on Amazon for $11.99 here)

2- Using a sharp knife, cut x's in the bottom of the balls.

3- Pop the lights into the balls. I would recommend LED lights, I'm afraid that the lights would get too hot and possibly melt the balls. (Not that I've ever experienced Christmas lights burning anything before.... oh wait. Don't ask) :)
