Ways to Wear: Spring Trends

This week, I thought I'd post some dresses from the store and talk about what role they have in the trends of Spring 2014. Three different looks. Three dresses, (or, well, one skirt I guess :)) three different looks entirely, ONE fashionable lady. 

 There is one obvious trend here that's pretty easy to pick up on. MINT! We loved it last summer and we love it again this spring. Another thing that stands out is the busy pattern. A few weeks back, we wrote about how to wear busy patterns and this is a dress you can practice with! This style is also flattering to everyone. So dainty, so lovely and SO perfect! Wear this with a leather jacket when it's still chilly. Pair with flats or wedges and some statement jewelry.

 Boho and beautiful. Girly but still effortless. The trend on point with this skirt would be the awesome pleat. Don't be afraid to wear them! To make things even better; not only is this skirt pleated, but it is also in a floral pattern. You would have to be living under a rock to NOT know that the floral pattern was huge, now - wouldn't you. :) Shown here with a flowy cropped top, but this would also be great with a plain white t-shirt, some Converse and a cropped denim jacket. Or throw on a pair of flats and done!

PRINT PRINT PRINT! You are sure to turn heads in such a beautifully printed dress. This geometric pattern is so great and I love that the main color in it is actually black. Dress this baby up with black tights and heels and wear it to an event OR throw a cardigan over it and some strappy sandals or little flats. What an easy way to sneak in a lot of color without feeling overdone.
