Ways to Wear: Transitional Outfits
Outfit 1: Here the common piece is this awesome floral printed skater dress. For now, pair it with a killer leather jacket and a neutral scarf - finish with high boots or ankle booties and leggings and you'll be snuggly warm. Below is the same dress stripped down. Busy floral patterns are huge for spring! Brighten the dark background up with some chunky and bright accessories - lime green skinny belt and a statement lemon necklace. Finish up with flats or little sneakers (Chucks, if you're me) and DONE!
Outfit 2: This dress catches my eye every time I walk in...For your spring look - you're done. This dress stands perfectly well on its own with the neon neck detail and the awesome navy stripes. It also has a pretty gorge chunky zipper in the on the back of it. Nude flats or some strappy sandals and - that was the easiest outfit ever! For the winter look...I played around a bit with an awesome camel colored poncho we have at the boutique. The cool thing about it is that it has a cowel neck so when you put it over the dress, you don't lose any of the jeweled neckline! Choose some tights or leggings to finish if you're looking for just a little bit more warmth!
The awesome top underneath the heavy coat is actually a lace crop top! The olive skirt is high waisted and works perfectly to hide your tummy. The best part about wearing a long skirt...you can wear whatever you want underneath it to keep you warm! I usually throw on my silliest looking sweater leggings when I wear a long maxi in the winter. :) And here's how to strip it down and turn it into a killer spring outfit...
Adding that bright statement necklace at the end of it all really gives this the perfect POP of color.
