Last Minute Halloween Costumes: From Your Closet

Procrastination is my middle name. If it doesn't pertain to work, it can wait. That pile of dishes? How does next Tuesday sound. Four mounds of laundry? I'll just go buy new underwear. A lot of us agree that there are not enough hours in a day and, now that Halloween is tomorrow, we're finding out that we have no idea what to be. Here are some super simple costume ideas that you can find straight out of your closet! Just add a little makeup and a couple accessories that you could find at a lot of stores this time of year and you're ready to go.

So I guess cat poses maybe aren't my forte. But all I did here was dress in all black! Am I the only one that has a black cat printed-tee? :| Probably.

Little Minnie Mouse! Polka dot skirt and all black. If you can only find black ears but they don't have a bow on them, all you need to do is buy a roll of dotted ribbon. Don't have time to wait for glue to set? No problem - just safety pin it to the ears. Extra points if you have a pair of yellow socks to wear with black flats. Minnie wore yellow shoes.

Plaid is a big trend this fall and if you don't have a plaid shirt in your closet, you can find one anywhere right now. This cute little scarecrow would be perfect. Dress in plaid, put some orange on your face and carry around some leaves or little sunflowers. A straw hat may be a better option. This was the closest thing that I could steal from my husband.

I'm sure just about all of us could assemble some sort of simple hippie outfit. Grab a floral tee, a fringe sweater and accessorize with a headband, some sunglasses and a peace sign here or there.

What did you decide to be for Halloween? If you're in a pinch like me, now you have some ideas! Share your looks with us on Instagram and Facebook.
