Ways to Wear: Booties

I've never owned a pair of ankle booties before. Generally speaking, I always went for tall boots. That is, until this season. Collectively, I now own five pairs of ankle boots and I'd venture to say that I actually prefer them now. Jeggings, leggings, tights or jeans. Dressed up or down.

Outfit #1: This first outfit is just a great example of color in the fall. This sweater is somewhere between lime green and mustard - that sounds so strange but, don't you agree? Finished with some chunky socks and our jeggings; this is a great day-to-day option. 

Leather/Fur Jacket: $54.95. Color Blocked Top: $34.95. Jeggings: $29.95. Scarf: $20. Booties: $52.95

Outfit #2: I'm not convinced I'll ever be able to give up my love for color blocking. We captured three big trends in one outfit here: color blocking, stripes & fur/leather. This jacket is heaver than it may appear and we love that this outfit shows how to make an ordinary leather jacket stand out. Just the right amount of fur and a chunky scarf finish it off.

Outfit #3: The option of a tunic and scarf will always be my favorite. I love the simplicity and comfortability of a good pair of leggings. Here is a great way to mix your neutrals. The color of the booties, taupe, lends themselves to either black or brown so, why not both?! This tunic has brown elbow patches so we kept that neutral on top mirroring it with the belt. The black leggings mirror the stripes and that beautiful scarf is just the right amount of color.

Outfit #4: Burgundy and navy and beautiful. This layered look and the beautiful detail on the bottom of the cardigan are sure to turn heads. Burgundy and navy are two of my favorite colors for the season and the over-sized knitting on the scarf and hand-warmers just scream 'snuggly'.
