So Much to be Thankful for!

It's our favorite time of the year and we have so much to be thankful for! It's important to remember, when you're stuffing your face with your sixth slice of turkey, what there is to be thankful for - during the holidays and everyday in between.

Chelsea:
1.) I am so very thankful for my wonderfully loving, patient and hardworking husband Colin. All the online, techy stuff, it's because of this man. He can make me laugh with the drop of a hat but also knows how to push me to become a better person and business woman. Chelsea's would not have been featured in the Wall Street Journal, on the small business crawl for the Internet Association or have a website if it wasn't for him.

2.) Those that know me, know what's coming next; being thankful for my family. I don't think I could get any more giddy to see my family, and especially my two beautiful, younger sisters. My mom has always been my best friend and has been an amazing role model for my business.

3.) I am also thankful for the amazing employees I have been blessed with. I mean really, how lucky can a girl be? The friendships I've made with these girls will last a lifetime and they are truly family.

4.) Of course I am overly thankful for all our lovely customers. Our store wouldn't be where it is today without all of you. Sioux Falls has welcomed us with outstretched arms and I can't thank this beautiful town and those that inhabit it enough!

5.) Lastly, I am beyond thankful for each and every one of my R&R girls. The connections and friendships I've made with each of these ladies have pushed my business further than I could have ever imagined. They are an incredibly amazing support system and I will cherish their friendships forever.

Becky:
1.) First, and foremost, I am thankful for my incredibly patient, kind, successful and loving husband Paul. Without that silly mustache and ridiculous obsession to 'pro' WWE wrestling I would have a lot less love in my life. I cannot wait for what our future has in store. ;)

2.) Day in and day out I am reminded of how wonderful my family is. I am blessed with 5 beautiful sisters, 3 challenging brothers and 4 perfect nephews. Same goes for my parents-there is nothing like the love a parent has for their child. I am thankful to have such a strong relationship with all of them (EVEN my mother-in-law!).

3.) I am thankful for my success that has come at a young age. Entering the work force at age 14 and beginning my first management position at age 18 has been a wonderful gift. Chelsea and Colin have a special place in my heart thanks to the boutique and all that they have taught me.

4.) In our fast-paced world, it is easy to misplace the basics. I am thankful for my health and our little comfy life in Sioux Falls - I wake up every morning, with food in the cupboards and a purpose for each day.

5.) Finally, I am thankful for my close friends (you know who you are). But mostly, I mean my cat Murray. My best friend - my pretentious and very bratty cat.

Colin:
Hi there, you might not know me, I'm the guy that makes everything on the web possible.  Ok, maybe not "everything," but I do a lot behind the scenes.  I don't often make appearances around here, but it's a special time of year, so I thought I'd pop in and let you know all the things I'm thankful for around this time.

1.) I'm thankful I get to be apart of Chelsea's Boutique! Let me clarify for all who are reading.  I am Chelsea's husband, so when I say I'm thankful to be apart of Chelsea's Boutique, I mean a lot more than just the store you see online and in Sioux Falls.  I mean I'm thankful to actually be apart of Chelsea's life.  To be able to watch her do all the amazing things she does and to see her build something from nothing.  If you've never met her, she's pretty darn amazing, and I'm thankful I've been able to be with her for a long time now and for many years to come.  If you'd stick around for another couple hours, or so, I could tell you about all the amazing things she's done, can do and will do.  But I imagine you have a turkey to thaw, so just know that all this super cool stuff that's going on over here at Chelsea's Boutique, it's because of Chelsea.

2.) I'm thankful for our wonderful employees.  We've been blessed to get hard working, smart, and encouraging employees here at Chelsea's Boutique! They are also a ton of fun to work with on a daily basis.  If you know us, you know we don't take to much too seriously, life's too short for that, and I'm thankful our employees get that about us!

3.) I'm thankful for the family (and extended family) I have around me.  Slightly cliche? Yes, but that doesn't make it any less true.  When you work basically 24/7 and are never sure people notice what you're doing, it's amazing to have your family there telling you how great you're doing.

4.) I'm thankful that Unicorns don't actually exist.  Could you imagine that?! I mean that's a big, powerful, fast animal with a horn on it's head!!  I don't see that being a peaceful animal.

5.) Finally, I'm thankful for the community of Sioux Falls! That may sound like I'm pandering, but I'm really not.  I have been surprised time and time again by Sioux Falls and all it has to offer.  The community in this city has been one of the greatest blessing for Chelsea's Boutique and for that we can't thank you enough.
