Ways to Wear: A Knit Headband
Winter accessories are one of the best parts of winter! Knit headbands are not only adorable but they're wonderful for warmth. Something about: if my ears are warm, I'm warm.
The classic: Over the ears and the hair. Simple and sweet. This is also great for any length of hair. If you have long hair, how cute would this look with big waves? I made sure to give myself some volume on top as well, so my hair didn't look so flat.
Forehead AND ear warmth: Lay the headband on your neck then pull up and under your hair. This way the entirety of your ears, most of your forehead and the nape of your neck are covered.
Halfy: Half up and half down. There's a cute little pony tail in the back and, because my hair's so short, it's sticking straight out. :) This look would be great with long hair.
Messy bun: All I did here was throw all of my hair to the top of my head. This would also be adorable as a sock bun. I LOVE the look of just a huge bun on top of your head.
The braid: Everyone loves a good braid. I grabbed a good section of hair from the top of my forehead and just threw a quick French braid in it. I mastered this skill junior year of high school in calculus. Because what else do you do in calc? Pull out the braid a little after its tied to give it a simple messy look and finish it with a pony tail or a little bun.
Piggies!: I don't think I've put pig tails in my hair since I was 12 but these are pretty cute. This style makes me want to go ice skating or watch a football game or something. As an adult, I think in the world of pig tails - the messier the better.
This winter, thick knits are on point for trend. Chunky cable knit scarves, headbands and mittens - I can't get enough. We are fully stocked down at the boutique with all of these necessities. Downtown Sioux Falls will soon dawn it's beautiful holiday season decorations. Are your accessories ready for winter?
