Ways to Wear: The Winter Vest

The winter vest: wear it casually, with a dress or with a tunic. Here are three simple ways to wear one of our favorite must-haves for the wintertime.

Outfit 1: All about the layers here. Bring any maxi, from any season, right into winter with the addition of a long sleeved plaid, a winter vest and a chunky scarf. It's all about the layers here. (You'd never know that I was wearing fleece-lined leggings under my dress for an extra element of warmth.) A pair of booties or even a little pair of flats if there's no snow currently on the ground. 

Outfit 2: Game day, grocery shopping and everything in between. The second option is casual and comfortable. A little varsity long sleeved tee underneath and a plaid scarf. Little sneakers or some ankle boots with this will work well.  

Outfit 3: I love this navy and cream tribal-inspired tunic. It's perfect with a pair of leggings and will be great for most casual occasions. Ankle or tall boots here and a necklace that makes a statement.
