DIY: Gift Wrapping Inspiration

Wrapping your gifts doesn't have to be the most annoying (and sometimes very expensive) part of the holidays. Consider what you have around the house that would make for adorable wrapping paper!
Inspiration for this post comes from this BLOG which lists 8 Christmas Gift Wrapping Ideas that are all affordable and unique.

I love it! Grab last week's newspaper or an old magazine and use the pages as wrapping paper. Stamps are inexpensive and you may even have a couple lying around the house. Or, get creative and carve one out of a potato! Now you just need ink and a little ribbon or twine.

Use some little pom-poms as decoration instead of the same ole bows. You can pick up a giant assortment of these from most craft stores for a couple of dollars. And, I've always loved the look of brown paper. I think it's classic and versatile - it's also much cheaper than anything you'll find that's patterned. Match some yarn to your poms and you're finished!

No name tags needed. I love the creative idea of just stamping on the gift recipient's name rather than using a sticker or name tag. A small ink pad and one single set of alphabet stamps will take you a long way. Dress the package up with a little ribbon.
