Top Fashion Bloggers Share Chic Winter Wardrobe Ideas
The dead of winter carries many obstacles. One of the most obvious, for many women, is the tedious task of dressing appropriately for the cold weather. Perhaps it has less to do with WHAT to wear and more to do with HOW to wear those items. Putting together an outfit is challenging when it's below freezing but, the simple addition of a belt, the right layering and the perfect accessories will keep heads turning. Check out these looks from some of the top fashion bloggers around the web:
Nicolette Mason
"Add structure and shape to a waistless coat by adding a belt over the top of your outerwear. It's an instant update to the silhouette, and quickly transforms your coat from bag lady to sophisticate. When you head inside, just roll the belt tightly inside one of your coat pockets!"

Natacha Steven
"In winter, I wear several layers! There are two major rules: The first one is to wear a legging under your tights (it darkens the tights and—against all odds—makes your legs look thinner), and the second rule is to wear an oversized shirt or cardigan under a coat or jacket."

Use these tips when styling for winter:
1.) Belt it. We all love layers but don't let them swallow you.
2.) Don't discount your summer wardrobe entirely. Just think about how to wear them with the addition of something chunky for warmth.
3.) Layer, layer, layer! Play with your patterns and show your personal style with this trick. I love the thought of wearing fleece leggings under a pair of patterned sheer tights.
4.) Always wear a pop of color. A bag, some earrings or a scarf are all great ways to accomplish this.
5.) Mix bright colors with dark neutrals to lighten up the dreary mood of winter.
