Wanted in 2015: Ambassadors of Confidence

Hey you guys. Want to hear about something really awesome that doesn't happen very often?

Chelsea's Boutique made a really great New Year's Resolution for 2015. And it has nothing to do with sales numbers, the amount of patterns or prints ordered or sales tax. It doesn't even have anything to do with really cute shoes.

Chelsea wants to focus on you. Yes, you.

In fact, I asked her about it and here's what she said:

"We really want to hit 2015 strong. We want to give great styling and fashion tips have help every woman find her own style and feel comfortable and confident in it. But alternatively, as a woman, I know how important it is to feel confident in what I'm doing, what I'm wearing and what my goals are, because when you have that perfect outfit paired with the right accessories and shoes, you feel flawless and confident in your own body. And I want every woman to know what that feels like."

Okay, can we just stop here for a moment and give this lady a round of applause?

Chelsea's desire to create a community of empowered women through fashion is becoming a reality. And her resolution is dedicated not only to reaching a broader audience but more importantly, to build a community of confident women. That's you. And me. So I guess, that's all of us.

(cue Beyonce's latest hit)

Focusing on her experience, and the in-house teamwork with the Boutique, Chelsea is changing the way we talk about fashion. Her goal isn't to increase sales or to get exposure, but to create a coalition of women who are ambassadors of confidence.

Isn't that amazing?

No matter what size or shape you are, Chelsea is in this.

She told me that, "Being able to talk with women and listen to their stories and struggles with body issues, weight loss/gain, having children, etc...it really makes you feel like you're not alone. Like we all have these similar thoughts and feelings. And when you have a tangible group of people around you who know and understand what you're feeling because they've gone through the same thoughts and emotions...it's a really powerful thing."

So let's do more than rally around this resolution. Let's create a community that not only allows women to empower one another, but also encourages it. Let's embrace who we are, as individuals and as beautiful, talented, imperfect, amazing unique women and let's spread the word. #womenempoweringwomen
