DIY Gold-Dipped Ballet Flats

Do you have a pair of flats that are on their last leg? Maybe they got really muddy last spring, jumping in puddles, or the toes are badly scuffed. No problem! Check out this easy DIY for toe-dipped ballet flats.

Materials:
Flats
Painter's Tape
Spray Paint (metallic, if you're me!)
Plastic Bags

Prep your shoes by removing any frills or additions that may be on them - like a small bow.
Tape off the toe, then add your plastic bag, tape that on and repeat this
step on the heel of your shoe if you choose.

You will probably need to spray a couple of coats to reach the sparkle you want.
Make sure and leave the tape and plastic on your shoe for at least 15 minutes.
Spray paint dries quickly but we'd hate to mess up that perfect line!
How adorable is this outcome! Trending on a budget - my favorite.
